LOW PRESSURE ISSUES
Low pressure issues are generally caused by multiple users irrigating at the same time of day. Please review the watering schedule for your subdivision located on our website. If you cannot find your subdivision listed, please contact your HOA for your watering time. It is also necessary to periodically clean your irrigation pre-filter which is located in the green irrigation box in your back yard.
The Board of Directors set the assessment for 2018 at the regular Board meeting on October 6th, 2017. Settlers' operation and maintenance remained at $65.00. For Boise Project Board of Control lands within the District, operation and maintenance remained at $65.00 per acre; Lucky Peak contract repayment is $6.10 per miner's inch on all lands; and the assessment fee is $10.00 per account. Pressure irrigation assessments are calculated per system and is based on previous years' power costs, repairs, etc.
The 2018 Assessment's will be mailed at the end of January 2018. If you have questions about your bill, you can email Stefanie@settlersirrigation.org or call 344-2471 Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Pay on or before April 15, 2018. All accounts become delinquent June 20, 2018 and will be certified as Tax Liens thereafter. Title 43, Chapter 7 of the Idaho State Code requires payment of assessments.
Irrigation Season 2017
Settlers began turning water into the canal on April 1st. To place a water order, call 870-4292. Please contact your HOA to find out when water will be available in your Subdivision. The 2017 turn off date was October 6th, 2017.
The regularly scheduled Board Meeting for January was held on the 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Settlers' office--1910 North Garden Street, Boise, Idaho 83707. The February Board meeting will be on the 6th at 10:00 a.m.
McMillan Lateral Assessments
We have received many calls regarding a billing that went out from the McMillan Lateral #2. If you have questions about that bill, you can contact the chairman of the lateral, Rich Vaughn, at 208-890-4587.
All future projects must have final plans submitted for approval by December 31st and all work in or affecting the ditches must occur after the end of irrigation season and be complete by March 15th.
